Y Arts Center                      
Welcome. The Y Arts Center is a program of the YMCA of Columbia-Willamette, which provides services in the Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington regional area. 

Our goal at the Y Arts Center is to enrich the lives of people in the community through affordable art classes. We have a variety of art classes for both children and adults. Y Arts is a nationally recognized program, growing locally.

Ongoing Classes
Adult Wheel-Throwing and Hand Building Class
Sundays Ongoing 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Kids Clay Class
Sundays Ongoing 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Adult Open Studio
Sundays Ongoing 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. and Tuesdays Ongoing 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Birthday parties, private and group lessons are offered. Gift Certificates are available for classes and open studio time.Tuition for all classes includes equipment, tools, clay, firings, low fire under glazes and glaze. The ceramic studio is equipped with eight electric wheels, an electric kiln and a slab roller. We are a Cone 06 low fire studio.
